I drive UNDER 60 mph,...YES, I am that slow-poke you curse at for getting in your way,...but BOY DO I MAKE MONEY!!!!!,...lol,...No, seriously,...I have learned to not let my boost get above 12-PSI while climbing hills, and/or while accelerating,...ever,...My wife?,...I still haven't figured out how she can keep it under 8-LBS up even the steepest of grades.,...Yes,..she kicks my bootie in fuel mileage numbers. She gets our qualcomm to read ridiculous things like 13.7-MPG after 570 miles driving on her shift,...Actual its in in the high 9's, usually, but still, I haven't figured out how she gets it to do it.

On smaller hills, we will typically throw on about 5-8 lbs of boost at the bottom, building speed and energy, then hold that boost pressure while going up it, down-shifting as needed. Backing off the throttle completely as we crest, letting it find its own momentum as it starts to head down again. rolling hills, especially heavy loads (35k-45k), we get killer fuel mileage, but its a constant game of shifting in and out of gear,...combined with down-shifting going up,...YES we use OOG as much as the terrain will let us as well.

Its not unusual, if we are running through the pocono's or the smokies, for us to shift hundreds, and hundreds of times a day,...each.
