I swapped a 1 drop seattle for a 5 drop seattle-spokane-seattle tomato load. Ran 2000 mi on the 1 drop, swapped in ontario or for the 5 drop with 1080 mi left on it plus my 160.00 drop pay. Should be about 1600 for the week.
Anybody know if I can spend the night at SAFEWAY DC AUBURN WA?

They used to have a lot to park in years ago, it's been 13 years since I have been there.

I am not familiar with the specs on the 2014 Cascadia Evos JCT is getting. I have a 2012 Cascadia with a DD15, 10 spd, and 3:36 gears. Hopefully one of the drivers that has one of the new trucks will post regarding their specs, to answer your question. My personal opinion on the truck you asked for a comparison on isn't very high...only based on the fact that your truck has a Cummins. I just don't care for the Cummins engines. But, to each, his/her own.

Thats a good point...im wondering if all the new emission garbage forced on these new engines are making these co's reassess how they spec trucks anymore...the biggest expense for co's & o/o alike next to payroll is fuel & any thing to improve fuel mileage is critical.

Since JCT does the whole lease purchase deal, then these questions are valid and on topic. Lets leave the moderating to the staff, if you see a problem with a post then click on the triangle and report it.

I'm used to seeing carriers spec trucks for resale value by adding 9spd transmissions convertible to 13spds yet JCT chooses to install 10spds for fuel economy reasons like Prime does. Also, most carriers I see are installing super singles and trailer fairings for fuel economy reasons. Do you guys run duals or super singles on your trucks?? Also, do you carry a spare with you??

All of the new trucks and the 2012 Cascadias have super singles. Some guys carry spares and some don't.

No new JCT driver prolly dnt. But some1 like Trafficcontrolxl with his seniority might, if he was given that opurtunity. I know I would take a 13 speed over a 10/9 any day. That's part of being a OO. Knowing the ins and outs of ALL aspects of ur business. Otherwise u might as well be a company mule an not give a hoot.
