CHAINING...are you ready?

Well, we seldom get snow here, and when we do it is usually just a dusting. Cedar City, of course, takes it in the shorts with snow, but being as how we are at the bottom of the ridge we don't get so much here.

 

Last winter...About March...April???....The Gorge got a bit of the white stuff too.....Sure caught a few people off-guard....

 

I have to say this though....UDOT is usually on top of the game during winter....I don't think I have had to toss the iron even through Fish Lake......

 

Well not only am I gonna miss this round of the "Blitz".....I'm gonna miss this too....

Truck has to go back to Cummins to replace another EGR and Turbo......

I don't know whether to laugh or cry at this point....

 

Got hung up on the pass between Richfield and I-15 about 0200 one morning years ago. Rig a few trucks in front of me jackknifed and totally blocked the WB lanes. I did have to chain up to get going again once they cleared the wreck. . .

 

Wow...It's usually E/B that gets sucky.....Especially that last part of the climb out of Cove Fort....

 

The SCR is an "After-Treatment" Otter....EGR's are still on the EPA '10 and newer engines IIRC....

 

No worries....You're the best "Iron Thrower" this side of Truckee.....
