I am so mad right now, that I could spit nails!!!! Hauling 17 pallets of combos, and 1 gets rejected cause of overweight!!!!! More product, than what was ordered was sent. AAAARRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!!!! That has got to be the stupidest excuse I've EVER heard, for rejecting a load!!!!!!!

 

I am sitting at Ocean Mist in Castroville loading for Safeway in Anchorage. Unfortunately, it will be dropped at their DC in Auburn WA. The new job has its growing pains so far. I have not made it North yet and I am dealing with truck issues. I had some time between loads and have been fixing stuff myself in truck stops and shippers yards. It is funny every time I start doing stuff the neighbor comes to see what is up.

The latest issue I am dealing with now is an exhaust leak. I figured that out after I got some CO2 poisoning. Luckily, I figured out what was happening to me before it was lights out. The main suspect so far is the exhaust manifold gasket, but I need to find a mirror to see behind the turbo. That should be a fun job to fix with the twin turbos and all the emission stuff hanging there on the C-13.

This is me at my new job and I am having my doubts about my decision to change jobs. I hope I am only dealing with some start up hick-ups and it will get better. If not, I sure would kick myself for making the move. Oh well, live and learn and if it would be easy everybody would be doing it. I guess time will tell and like always in produce it is wait an ungodly amount of time and than run balls to the walls to deliver on time. My 14 hour clock is ticking loudly, but the good news is I still have almost 36hrs to do 900 something miles.

 

Aaaargh, what am I doing wrong for my pictures not to show up? #### this technomopology stuff is killing me. Just give me a piece of slate and some chalk.

 

I hear ya! I had Walmart reject 15 cases of ice cream one night because it was Rocky Road instead of Vanilla. I had to wait until the following afternoon to finally get it off loaded for the shipper at a food bank in SLC.

 

sitting around. with 2 bars of 4g internet. and the speed is slower then the slowest dial up modem.

i had decent 3g internet over the weekend.

 

Cold here today had to find some warm clothes hope it warms back up next week!

Have been cooking far to much and have a fridge full of left overs and no one here seems to eat left overs spoilt adults that they are. JJ will be getting some to take out with him later or tomorrow.
