MAC trailer's service shop in Alliance OH quoted me $1400. One day in the shop, trailer must be empty. That's for a Hendrickson suspension.

Thanks for the info, that's about the price I'm guessing, and I know it could be a lot less. I could have a welder friend do part of it, but I don't want to mess with installing the air valves and plumbing the lines. One stop, one day, get it in and out and back on the road. Waiting for a call back from a trailer dealer a little ways out of town now, they're working up an estimate for me, they've done these before so I feel better about that. A dealer in Charlotte said they'd do it, but hadn't done one before and weren't sure about the exact parts I was talking about using, the actual Hendrickson kit. I didn't feel comfortable with that.

04 kw t2000 c15 kitty mbn. 10spd...was getting mid 4s to 5 at stock 475hp ....had one of our members wrenchhead do a ecm profile change ..set to a 600hp 2030lbs file and now im getting 5.5 to 6 ...80000 up to 7 on 20000 or less loads ..running 63 to 70 like to stay around 65 but sometimes just cant help it ...he did me right and highly recommend him. Im out of mn as well as him so went with him ...so if you got a mbn hes the man to see locally about a horse or two.....I can climb mount eagle 80000 9th gear 55mph ...kinda nice but the added fuel economy with just a tune and no mods was worth every penny

    Dice , that is great.
My little fleet could make me a very comfortable retirement if they got that type of consumption.

Are they in Charlotte, somewhere near Graham & 85? I think that's the place I had some work done years ago and couldn't remember the name. Seemed like a pretty decent operation there. Thanks, I'll give them a call too.

The under beam lift kit part #UBL-002D, cost was $392.40 when I bought one in March of 2013. They installed an entire axle at the time so not 100% sure what installation cost was. If I remember correctly the guy at Ravens Trailer quoted me $600.00 to install on my other axle. I own a Mac, but I think the guy who quoted $1400 to install one was on crack!

Dice was that you who went out west a few months ago and your fuel mileage dropped like the Zeppelin? I remember hearing KR talk about it.

My part is UBL-004, cost is probably about the same. The 1400 would be all parts and labor, including air lines/valves not included with the cost of the lift kit itself. I know the Hendrickson air valve kit is way too expensive for what it is. Still waiting for a quote from dealer I spoke with later this morning. Fast turn around time is worth a bit of a premium too. One day vs "drop it off and we'll call you" can be a lot of lost revenue. Seems its just getting more difficult to get work done anymore, shops turn it away constantly. All they want it is the simple and fast work.

Yeah I just got off the phone with the guy and he said $450.00 for the kit and a guesstimate of $700 if I do the plumbing. If you use electric PeterPaul valve one open and one closed they would cost under $100 a piece. Its simple to plumb up yourself.
