You have to watch with Wolverines, most of their lower line stuff is made overseas. But the Durashocks are comfy and last.

Looks like Wolverine gets the nod. I had looked at their web site earlier and there was no mention of them being a Made in The USA company. I had to dig deep to determine where they (or even the bulk of their products) were made. They need to work on their web site to emphasize the "Made In The USA" aspect up front.
I hope they don't let me down as an American product. -
WOLVERINES!! Sorry Red Dawn flash back

I have a nice pair of Redhead (Bass Pro Brand) I like alot.

I bought some redhead t-shirts I like a lot there at BassPro. I like the weight and the durability. Plan on going back and seeing if I can find some long-sleeve Redhead pull-over shirts that I like

If you want some of the best, there's always White's Boots in Spokane WA. They aren't cheap. Made well and they can be rebuilt several times. Depends what you want, the good stuff for the rest of your time driving, or buying a new pair every couple of years.

Upper end Danner's are USA made and good quality. http://www.danner.com/
Wesco's are all American made and wear like iron once you get them broken in and they do make pull on boots.
Probably the sturdiest boots made anywhere, you can custom order and they have a rebuilding program.

You could try White's, or Westco's. They make custom (to fit your feet), and these boots will last you 15-20 years. They are repairable, you'd just have to send them off and a week or so you have what amounts to an almost new boot. But you have to treat them in the fall for the winter. Doesn't take much time for a piece of quality All American footware. My husband has about 40 or 50 of these boots and I can turn you on to him and he can give you the real nuts and bolts about the quality, etc. The cost is about $400, but if you have them 15 - 20 years, that's a cost of $27.00, you can't even get a cheap pair of sneakers at Wally's World for that, not that will keep your feet from stinking. These boots are made from REAL leather, not like a sneaker. And yes they have slip on's. So check out White's, Westco, and I've got a few more you could check out if you are interested. I forward your questions to my husband. Good Luck.

40 or 50 pairs of boots?

I went looking for boots a few months ago and the selection sucked, especially US made. I ended up with some Danner Vicious comp toe's made in Vietnam. At least it wasn't China. I was looking for a US made hiker style with chomp toe and couldn't find anything.
