This is why you should carry an angle grinder with plenty of cut-off wheels with you. The container I have on now had a 10" ladder rail on top, which put it at almost 11' tall. I told them I could not load it because it was too tall. So after a few minutes, they asked me what had to be done so i would take it and told them they needed to cut off the top part. Guy came back with a cut-off wheel and took it off. Now it's 10' tall and we are good to go :D

Why would you WANT to find them? If you confront them in person as soon as you leave their cb buddies will ask them "What was that about?" and they will just say "He wanted some information on how to be a big time O/O like I am". On the same subject I paged through one of those little truck stop books the other day and ATS had another "Success" story about some poor schlep who was on his 6th truck lease in five years who loves "Being an owner operator and running my own business".

    SHC and Logan76 Thank this.

A successful fleece operators story...should be an interesting read. It's like going to the police department looking for crack. You're gonna get busted.

According to my wife, the day I got married I entered into a Lease Purchase deal basically just like ATS and CR England..... I work my ### off, haul a bunch of loads, and at the end of the week, I have no paycheck. But at least I get to use the "equipment". And if I want to upgrade, all I have to do is pay the ridiculous Balloon payment at the end of it !!!

What happens if you tear up the equipment? Do you get a "loaner" till yours is out of the shop?
