I try too. But, sometimes a driver will post first. I work a lot off of Beta Software and I am on a different server.
Thanks,

When was the last update put out?

Mark,
Thanks for the PM. Now if I could just get it to quit planning my ETA's based on 75 MPH speed limits and I will feel much better.
The next thing that I need to try is the option to show where I went. I found this very helpfu at times on the Garmin. Sometimes I want to retrace a path or figure out which way I came in. The Garmin was really good at that, even when off the road. -
Has anyone else noticed when it comes to split speeds it still gives eta off a car speed not truck limit?

Mark,
I have a 720 with lifetime maps. I am currently getting a warning that my maps are over a year old. I sync on 10/211/13 and it said I was up to date.
Software Version 3.55.2780.1540
Dock Version 1.0.5025.21360
Serial number 720-027635
I am confused, is the existing map over a year old?
Thanks,
Eric -
(not trying to answer for Mark - just trying to add what I have found related to your post.) The "trails" feature does work well on your 720. But please note, that unlike the Garmin, you must turn it on manually each time (or day) that you want it to record a trail. If you turn the GPS off at night (or whenever) it will not have the trail recording enabled when you turn it back on by default.
AND, we found that if someone turns their trails on day-after-day, it eventually fills up the internal memory with all of that trail history. So since they were clever to build a very good trail manager screen, I would highly suggest that a driver go in there periodically delete old trails that you don't care about. It will let you select each one. It does not make you "delete all" or something like that. I think you may see some kind of limit, or maybe a warning once your trail database gets to a certain size on a future update perhaps. You could maybe "auto-delete" old trials, but personally I would like to have the driver control to pick and choose which ones to keep myself. <hint, hopefully>
I do like very much how you can pick WHICH trails to show on the screen (rather than "show all" or "show none") and the color of the trail lines.Mark Kling Thanks this. -
3.55.2780 for those on the newer maps on the 510/520/710/720. I believe a few months ago.
A new version is due out soon.
Thanks,

No. If you are computer savvy I need some information and a screen shot of a folder.
Let me know and I will pass that info along and tell you what file to delete to get rid of that msg.
Thanks,
mark -
Maps segments are not 100% complete in regards to showing all truck speeds. So the ETA will base some off car speeds. You can adjust by Truck Tools/Truck Info/Truck ETA Adjustment - Increase will add time to the ETA, Decrease will take away time from the ETA.
Thanks,
MarkDieselboss and SavageSam Thank this.
