Hey all, I've checked around the site and I don't see a lot of info on tankers leasing at Schneider. I understand it's mileage only and controlled by a dispatcher. Can anyone currently or in the past share some light on the subject pls?
I'm looking at the program but it seems to be more of a glorified co driver position.:biggrin_25511::biggrin_25511:

ethos is our resident tank guy here. He can give better info and some anecdotal from the o/o's he's come across, I would imagine.

I am a tanker driver for 5 months. Looking to switch to o/o division. Haven't decided yet to choice or mileage tanker program. Any thoughts or concerns?

Trying to get more info. Schneider tells me there is no choice program with tanker only mileage and I haven't been able to get any info from any o/o drivers in the program.

Yep. It's only mileage in tanker. But I don't have any info too.

    1.05/all miles plus FSC..

If you're running everything is fine.
There are other extra's like heat is transit and delay..but not something you can depend on.

They do stay BUSY on the bulk side so miles shouldn't be a problem.

They pay 50 for hit. It doesn't cover long trips anyway. 25 $ hour detention pay after 2 hours.

$1.05+fsc - is pretty good, but i mean for dangerous tanker loads i dont tink its worth it, but datz just my opinion

Any o/o taking straight mileage for pulling tanker is making a bad decision.
