I'm sorry, My truck don't run, the part is on a shelf. UPS is guarding it. Poor Kid, he has his Wife with him. I can pull only so many strings. He better Man up. That's what I would do.

At least gp100 has a computer to keep him occupied.Werner is notorious for making the otr drivers sit and ive went to Laredo many times for them. But the longest I ever sat there was 2 days.Laredo is a nice city but that doesn't pay the bills.Hope you get going soon gp100.

Make the best use of your time and do whatever you can to apply to other companies while you are there. Document record or photo, everything that happened since you arrived (phone calls, date/times, person), while it is fresh in your mind.
If you do decide to roll be sure you fill the tanks b4 you do. If they shut the card off just call them, and ask if they want the truck returned, if they don't fund the card, you will have no choice but to leave it where it is. Again document, or record the conversation.
You have a lot of advice here, but only you can make the call. For myself I would not sit more than a day or two for anyone, anywhere, but that's me, not you. Companies continously test employees to see how much they can get away with.
If they have you sitting 6 days now, it is likely they do something similar in the future.
Once a company realizes an employee will eat their crap, they will be happy to continue to feed it to you.
Sorry it happened to you bud. Good luck! -
A week in Laredo, no wonder people think driving truck is like being on Holidays.
That sucks. Sounds like a true BFI. -
That would apply if you had money. But being broke trying to figure out how the bills are going to get paid is a very stressful part to trucking.

Money has nothing to do with it. Treating your drivers that way is unacceptable. -

I'm curious how this all turned out. Hopefully the OP can come back so we aren't left hanging.
