They gave me a few names like everyone else. Nothing real solid but I will go talk to these companies. Here is the WHOLEsecret you really need to get a name of an operations manager. That gets you alot closer to the goal. Talking to the fat a sshr person behind the counter gets you no where. They just tell you to get online or here is an app. Fill it it out.. if you can get someone's name and throw it a round , and say so and so sent me down here to talk to so n so. I've had way better responses with that. There seems to be some already respect with a little bit of name knowledge and not just I have no oilfield experience and need a job. It realy is about talk8ng to people and networking. It is not a quick process, so be ready and be patient. But I guarantee it will be worth it. I talked to a trican guy today and he we happy. Been working there for over two years. He was comfortable and lives here and he still wad taking home around 2700 every two weeks. he had a family and didnt put in a ton of hours but he said if you were hungry and got after it you could take 4000 a pay period no problem.

The numbers are real and about the same everywhere. ....but to break into that circle without experience is a little tough right now. I'm being told that things tend to slow down come 4th quarter. But I will beat on the doors till someone gives me a shot.

Yep they are everywhere. But they want experience. But work is everywhere I've got a job that I start Tuesday but nothing to do with oil. It will work for now and keep some money coming in till I get where I want. If you are Willing to work hard there is work.

I could add a little more to that; and say your probably right. Our Big Red Sand Division has pulled into full gear. So I would suspect there is a demand out there for some time being.
