Yea I've never seen somebody black out smoking weed like they do wen they're downing a bottle of Jack or something.

Point is, if your willing to risk a career over your will to do stuff that's not to be allowed, you need to grow up. Especially weeds it seems to stay in your system the longest.
I used to smoke allot of weed wen I was younger, but I grew out of it. Its not like it has some kind of addiction or anything. Its all in the head.

Trucking demands allot of responsibility, as you'll be out on your own most of the time, not aiming at anyone, but the bottom line is, if you cant resist the temptation to take a hit wen you know you shouldn't, maybe trucking just isn't for you.

 

The mentality of some of these drivers against pot really amazes me. It shouldn't but it does. Some of y'all act like a guy who smokes pot is doing it behind the wheel. If a guy wants to smoke some pot on his off time I have no problem with that. I've seen truck stops littered with beer cans/bottles. I'd much rather share the road with a driver who smoked a little pot, munched out and slept than a guy who drank a six pack, woke up hungover and is now on the road. I, like others, have smoked my share of pot and drank my share of alcohol. Never once have I woke up feeling like crap after smoking the night before but there have been numerous times I've woken up feeling like crap after a night of drinking. I'll repeat. I'd rather share the road with a guy who smoked pot the previous night than a guy who drank the night before.

 

Accountability. do watch you want, but do take account of your responsibilities wen its time. Sorry hotH2o.

Id rather drink something that's gonna make me stupid for a minute than risk my career with something that's illegal and gonna haunt me for a month to three.

Trucking companies it most certainly is.Name one company that allows it,just one.

 

Ya and like wise not everybody that drinks as well is gonna get behind the wheel wen he's drunk.

To be honest if weed was legal id probably smoke it. I guess I'll just haft to wait until I finish driving, then I'll go and get my medical card.
If its still legal to do so. See that's the problem the legalities of the ####. The cops and all that crap.

As it might be legal to get a medical card and smoke, the DOT still has it banned in commercial operation.

 

No worries here. I take account for my responsibilities......whatever that means....?

 

Lol, its good to know we have some responsible drivers sharing the road out here. If that makes any sense.

 

But we do have to worry about the driver at the strip club, buying a bottle at the store and gettin TOTALLY wasted in their truck to sleep for 5 or 6 hours and go back on duty.......
