If and when you do some deep ''research'' on the Al-Mighty Landstar,you will see that L/S charges UNESSECARY fee's.These fee's are around 6,000 a year or more that a one man independent does NOT PAY..That being said Landstar hides behind the old Landstar Name.They sell people the Old Landstar and once your on,you get the New Landstar...

Landstar is NOT YOUR FRIEND.Landstar is all about L/S.They will toss you under the bus so fast,it will make your head spin.Again,it's not what it seems..So please CYA...Cover your ### at all times and trust know one.You will be lucky if you can actually build relationships with 5 Agents,here at Landstar..

It is by far a ''cut throat'' dog eat dog operation..

That being said.Landstar is good for the ''new'' business guy or gal wanting to take a stab at Business''.It is a great beginning to the world of Independent..You will learn so very much here at Landstar.You will also get your ### kicked at Landstar and not believe how dirty many of the players are..Hate the ''game'' not the Players..

What are these "unnecessary" fees?

 

Workers Comp - 67.00 X 52.00 A WEEK = 3484.00 a year...(Not ''Needed'') only a choice or preferred...

NY Plate a year= 1300.00...Landstar is 1,600 + 200.00 permits...500.00 savings...

E-LOGS is 27.00 x 12 months = 324.00

Group IFTA SCAM CAN SAVE AN OWNER ABOUT 500.00 YEARLY WITH OWN SINGLE ACCOUNT..

Bobtail Ins = 1800.00 a year...(Not Needed)...Covered under own cargo and liability ins..

Total of 6608.00 a year just by going to get your own numbers...Just Saying

I forgot one....HAZMAT B/S...300.00 for the whole process from beginning to end..

 

First Landstar Lesson...Don't believe all the B/S you hear...If the speeding is 15 and over,it would be possible term BUT prolly not..I have a nice fat speeding hammer down ticket and i am still here...2 and your prolly gone...

 

That is all that is required is the ''physical damage''.I myself do not have it or ''need'' it through L/S.That is your baby and L/S could give a rats ###..And no landstar will want there Unessacary Money.These are ''have to's''..

 

You do not need physical damage.Your bank may require this,Landstar does not...It does NOT affect L/S so they could care less...rolmao...If it ''affect'' the Landstar Wizards,you can bet you will PAY BIG..
