Free Android App for Oil and Production Water drivers

This is a tool for Oil and Production water truck drivers. It allows you to enter the top and bottom gauges of a 400/bbl battery tank and then it converts that into the amount of barrels and gallons of oil or water that you have in your trailer.

Let me know if there is a feature you would like to see. Also if you use battery tanks other then 400/bbl battery tanks, let me know the math and I might add it.

 

It saves people from doing the math, helps eliminate the chance of human error. If every driver was off by 1 inch one time every year the cost would be in the 100's of thousands. 1 inch = 1.67/bbl with oil at $97.85/bbl a 1 inch mistake is like a $150 mistake.


Maybe your great at math and it wouldn't be needed for you, but not everyone is and this would help them.



Try the math, lets say:

Top gauge = 14' 7" 1/2
Bottom Gauge = 8' 9" 3/4

Figure the difference, change it to inches, then times it by 1.67 - then if you need the gallons take the BBL you get from that and times it by 42



Personally I think typing the numbers into a app and having it do the math is easier....
