You must be one of the East West Express guys. I always have to laugh when I see their sticker on the side of the truck where it says "Driver in Bunk". Sounds like a good company to me where they let you drive the truck from the bunk. I am not sure what the co-driver does.:biggrin_2554:

My pull down says INTERMISSION.Keeps everybody wondering?
Im thinking about getting some puppets, and doing a show for all
my fellow trucker brethren,to help keep us awake for a few more miles.
Maybe some sesame street, with a learning message at the end of the show.:kermit:

Are they driving Cascadias? The side mirror is almost right in your face and every third person that passes thinks they need to flash their lights at you when they pass. Maybe this is it? :) it's becoming my pet peeve.

Try this: When the idiot turns on his/her high beams to tell you that you can move back over, do so, and keep driving at your current speed. After a few miles, start slowing down, one mph at a time, until the idiot has to pass you now. Then, you turn on your high beams, to return the nice favor, only you leave yours on longer than he/she did and watch as the driver will actually thank you by blinking his/her trailer lights. Then get back out in the hammer lane a blow their doors off and leave them in the dust.

Flashing your lights at someone just because he did it doesnt make it right. Should'nt you try to be more professional than him?

doesn't bother me to have drivers flash their lights.

what pisses me off is the idiots coming from the opposite direction. THAT'S what blinds me.

I'd be embarrassed to be seen driving these butt-ugly trucks they put out here nowadays. Can't blame 'em. Probably parks it a mile down the road when he goes home so the neighbors don't see him in the ugly thing.

Don't forget the "Another truck is passing me, so I'm going to speed up and not let them pass to show everybody how ####### fast my 2001 Freightliner Columbia is" trend.

At least they are trying to be courteous to you...unlike 50% of the drivers out there that won't even signal when they change lanes. Besides,
I don't have that much time to be an ###.
