Speaking of this, I saw something very strange coming down I-57 yesterday -- I was doing my normal 61 on flat ground and a truck passed me that was doing around 70 (again, this is on flat ground so no speed increase from downhill). The tractor had a different trucking company's name on it (not one of the majors -- it had "contractor" in the name) and as it pulled past me, on the back of the van was...Roehl. It didn't look like an old trailer. Do we sometimes contract out Roehl van loads to independents?

Pretty sure we do. I have seen other companies pulling our flatbeds as well.

    technoroom Thanks this.

Schneider truck missed his turn. We were all watching out the window to see what he would do as creeped up to Roehl entrance. We thought he would pull a uturn using the entrance. He parked truck on the side and walked up to the gate. Then he was walking back and forth. We thought he would get denied, but they actually opened the gate and let him turn around.

At least he had the sense not to pull a U-ie in the street; that would have been entertaining indeed.

Nope it's not. Kory thought for sure they wouldn't let him in.

He could have made it using the mouth of the entrance. Not wise, but doable.

Hey kardolmar, that rolled truck from Dega didn't make it too far. Guy hit a 13' 10" bridge on 94. Came back, they let air out of tires and cranked it down more, then re routed him 80 and up 39.

Hmmmm thats why you always measure how tall your load is if its questionable.

Should of been on a RGN to begin with and not a brand new driver hauling it. Its roehls stupid fault in this case. but sadly the driver going to pay the ultimate cost in csa points.
