its like reefer guys having pallets, just part of the deal. snowwy , don't load coils with those pine timbers. wait til ya get the right load and you will see the difference between pine and hardwood.

specialized crap that needs harder wood. sure. shipper can supply their own.
my timberland was needed for wood mats. so it worked just fine. although the receiver broke two of them. -
Yes indeed, I've seen those landscape timbers near cut in half by steel beams, and pancaked by a coil. I'll happily toss that crap in the trash pile any day. Most places who say you need to have the heavy stuff will be happy to toss on a few freebies if they see all you have are timbers. I never know what shape the next trailers dunnage will look like.

they didn't last long, keeping hardwood isn't much of a problem, just keep strapped on behind the landing gear. -

When u do go buy boards next time, I'd suggest getting 4x6 lumber. Gives u a wider foot print as a 4" board and then u just turn it and u got a 6" board. I won't buy a 4x4 ever again !!!
