Sitting at the shipper waiting to load. Got a PP central Texas to Maine. 3 stopper, 2100 miles. Hell yea!

 

Gotta move on from it. I damaged a trailer hinge on an indoor dock a month or so ago. Cost $80 to fix. They called it equipment damage, but hit he hard on my scorecard on the preventable portion. Has the slider thingy sitting on $3,000, which I think is crap, but it is what it is. We're not perfect, and as long as it isn't major, then you just move on.

FWIW it's 3000 points, not $3000 of damage. I agree that it's best not to beat oneself silly over it; take the lesson learned and move on.

 

Ahh points... Still think it's silly you can't land somewhere between that. Either you have zero, 3K, or 6K? No in between? 3000 pts sounds like a big hit for $80 worth of damage, but life goes on..

 

Got the idea from coop earlier this year actually, but I was already not using cruise, and my mileage is over 8 mpg. Which will not hold now with flatbeds, but it what it is.

Hmm looking at my recap I am getting back this week. Not good gonna be difficult to get home.

 

My friend rides those skate boards Told me his best check was 3x mine, by my estimate. But to put up with as much as he does, NO WAY. Not till I get into shape first, LOL. Told me how they used two cranes and simultaneously dropped 43,000 on his trailer in course of 2 seconds... I'd get white faced pale on that one... jaw dropped and all.
