Joe on your Friday before you leave you tell the coordinator your day of return and time. For me its Friday at 1000. All 5/2 drivers have set start times and days. 6/2, 6/3, 5/5 etc have rotating days off and start days. On those programs your start time is the only thing that would be set. IE - 6/3 you finish on Thursday at say 11. You come back on Monday at 10. 6/3 is more like 5 and half and 3 and a half.

The 6/3 is definitely a great program if you can get one.

Well, you can stay 'on duty' for all 14 hours thus 'running out of time' in 5 days if you wanted to be done a day early and have FOUR days off.

Now, you wanna make money? You go 'off duty' whenever you're not driving and you'll end up with anywhere from 8 to 14 hours for day 6. And with this stupid half hour break, you already leave 2.5 hours on the table that a 5/2 guy can't use. Mostly I find I have about 8 hours left on day 6, which is plenty to get a good days mileage and activity. So it's a very flexible schedule. Your days off rotate so you'll have a weekend off every 6 weeks, three-day 'weekends' every week, and if you DO get done early, you come back on the day you were SCHEDULED to come back, so you can make plans months in advance. In other words, I was supposed to be done on Saturday, have off Sun Mon and Tue, back to work on Wed. But I finished on Fri, but my 3 days off still don't officially start until Sun, so my return to work day stays the same. Hope that's not too confusing. The way it's set up is there are 3 guys using 2 trucks so that's why your start and end days will always stay as scheduled.

The closest you'll get is Long Island, and only if you run out of Toby for gm or Johnstown for grocery, and of course if they send you to either dc to 'borrow' you.

Are you out of Menomonie? I live in Mpls and have been keeping my eyes open for them to open up more driver spots.

Yes. Keep watching drive4walmart.com. I'm not sure if they are going to open any more positions for awhile.
