Rarely fuel at the majors ... the last time I was there was to pop into the Loves to use the transflo. Then since I was there, I went across the street and grabbed a sandwich.

If you think about the great food culture of the USA should revolve around the unique institution called BBQ. Anyone try the guy who has a stand next to the TA at Duncan, SC exit 68 I think? I've never tried it but I've been close. Why don't these clowns who run these truckstop chains use some of their imagination and introduce good BBQ into truckstop fayre. Surely, it can't be difficult.
I never eat at truck stops because the quality of food is very poor but I would have a change of heart if BBQ was available. I'm from the UK and I'm absolutely amazed that this genre of food has not taken hold in my home country. I've discovered some great BBQ joints while on the road, but alas, few are adjoined to a truckstop. Let's hope it changes. -
Ya last time I was up there about 3 weeks ago I walked over, he was out of everything this was at lunch he said by dinner he would have everything again....as I walked off he said I think I can make you a pork sandwich that and two sides with a drink was $5.00 (can't do that anymore) sides were from a can....pork was ok was just bland.
