Are there any O/O's out their that can shine light on current status of Interstate Dist Co?

I see that they made some structural changes with a new CFO etc. They've been around a long time what's happening now? Are they

Green trucks. Tacoma, WA. Mega carrier. Dry van. Think flat rate per mile for leased operators piss poor pay. Just another company.

I think I saw one of their O/Os parked next to me a couple of hours ago. He was hooked to an Interstate trailer. If it's the same company, this may give you pause:

That's his APU. Look at its orientation with regard to the frame. That's right, it's hanging on by a thread. it moves when the wind blows.

I brought this to the attention of the driver, as I thought he may have missed it during his pre-trip. He didn't speak very good English, but what I think he said was that he knew about it. He drove away about 15 minutes later...

Thanks, bullets he set out are copied straight from website. The selling points were the same as described on the phone. I see some people presumably o/o's saying they are taking 67.5% and getting paid but don't know if they are company robots. Very hard to sort this out especially when looking back at older threads where there are financial problems and new ownership. So, the driver retention of 8+ years etc doesn't mean much. I'd really like to hear from people onboard in the last year.

Also would like suggestions on sorting through this it just seems a leap of faith at some point.

You have no idea what you are talking about .. Interstate was bought out by Saltchuck a couple years ago and has totally restructured the company.

I am an O/Op here at IDC and we are paid percentage. IDC pays all plates, permits and even the escrow. The expenses are very minimal and we get a fuel discount in the IDC network.

Learn and Understand before ya open yer yap and post crap about something you know absolutely nothing about.
