Not ONE single person have I ever read was happy with ANY lease purchase. Those only good for people with horrible credit and hardly no cash down and interest rate high. DO YOUR RESEARCH before you do. Good Luck. Stay Safe!!

I am happy, and this is my second time around. I have owned restaurants that I have leased the building they were housed in. I own a computer sales and repair shop that I lease the space in the building. What is the difference. In fact I get a better tax write off in a truck lease than any other.

Understand. Just was answering what I heard and not heard. By the way Sunco is a great place. Talked to 2 O/O 's recently leased to them and their very happy and treated well.

I wasn't trying to start an argument, but so many people bash the L/O. We all have to make a living. Sunco is a good company to work for. Have a great day

so LMB would u recommend the lease purchase through sunco

Was not bashing anyone. Was bashing ANY lease to own deal out there. Never heard a good word about them. Far as I said above I talked to 2 O/O's leased to Sunco and their very happy there. Stay Safe!!

I know a lot of Sunco drivers in a LP... It's really more of a company finace... Unlike prime, swift, transam who are in the business of leasing trucks along with moving freight , Sunco was just using the LP to get rid of the land span equipment they wanted to replace

Although Sunco is a great company I think too many drivers are looking at gross income and not looking at expenses. If you are not mechanically inclined you need to find a shop that will actually repair and maintain your truck at a fair price. Break down on the road and you could be charged triple the normal repair for parts and labor. I make .45 a mile loaded or empty driving for an O/O. He pays me practical miles, no benefits. So Sunco pays you .90 cents a mile and no benefits. I'm not sure how you figure you will make more than me after you deduct fuel, plates, insurance and maintenance. You get a lot of tax deductions and a lot of headaches. I would think long and hard before doing a L/P.
