Central has a great deal paying half of schooling after a year so my schooling will cost 1500 and re West will accept me with no experince and no contract what do you fellow knoledgable truckers think? Actually train and sign a year to these guys (central)or just get out open on the road and start getting paid right away? Aldo's dose anyone know of other companies that will accept me with no experience and no contract(I know they are rare) but i found one today

if they are accepting you, with no experience and no cdl, they are going to get something in return so you might want to look over things again. especially mega carriers like those two, they aren't gonna train you for nothing

i always see a lot of these posts...one or the other.., lol, try a few. Most will reimburse all of your tuition after about a year of employment. A lot of people seem to think they rip you off with that but if they didn't have that hanging over your head, many would just get the CDL A and then leave. im not sure that paying half of your school is a great deal.

Tons of other places to check out...Swift, Prime, Roehl, Millis.... if you are looking to start out.

Don't go to England. Thats who I started off with and there isn't anything good there. I'm not a pissed off ex driver. They just don't pay worth a #### and I never got any miles. So I left and found a company that ia taking care of paying off my schooling through England and I couldnt be happier. I make good money and home just about every weekend with a great work environment. Look around you will find someone willing to take u with no experience fairly easily. Good luck with whoever u go to.

I started with PAM and they are the pay for your school if you drive for us a year company. You can do a lot worse. From what I hear Crete hires new drivers but I dont know if they pay for school. Work with a lot of ex crete drivers and they pay well above average for a company to start with. Pam does have automatic transmissions so this can make learning to drive a 100 times easier but after your year will make it 1000 times harder to get a better gig. No good companies i know of have autos. Do not go with cr england.
