Great company from what I heard. But be cautious on Arrow. Being they recommend them what discount you getting? Otherwise if you have the credit etc.....I'd shop around. Tons of trucks in our area. Know where 2 are for sale in Bradenton right now. Depends what you looking for. Good Luck and stay safe.

I am very happy with my deal from Sunco......My first tractor developed a problem in the first month which cost $9k to fix....they offered me a different tractor and after checking it out....I switched....no out of pocket for me at all...

here I am a month later and all is well....also don't forget...they offer a walk away lease....give the keys back if you don't like it......who else does that?
That's the main reason I leased with them in the first place...has nothing to do with credit.......if I find in 6 months or so that being an O/O is not for me than I am gone....no questions asked.......

Also....Sunco will be here to stay just under a new name.....Watkins Refrigerated.......they just got 100 new trailers and will be marked "Watkins Refrigerated"

Celadon just has the Landspan division and NOT Sunco......

    pretty good week this week........
Lakeland to New Orleans.....Delhi to Atlanta......Atlanta to Salisbury........Marion to Miami........

Stopped by Arrow today after got my letter from Sunco. Not too much at all to look at right now, but the guy who usually handles deals with Sunco was out so another guy I worked with told me that he'll have the other guy call me Monday and see if there was anything else they had.

1st truck as an 06 FL but had an automatic and ran very rough.
2nd truck was an 05 FL and was in decent shape for the year.
3rd truck was an 05 Volvo with a D12, but the transmission was a "lightning" Eaton which is a POS according to everything I have read and was discontinued.

I'll keep you guys updated on how things go since Sunco is using Arrow as one of their suppliers now.

    GITRDUN45 Thanks this.

Thanks for the info. Not sure exactly what deal they have worked out with Arrow but it sounds like they are only allowing trucks within certain price and/or year range. I'm still waiting to get further details as far as specific equipment and payments.

If my credit was better and I had made more when I worked for Prime, I'd probably go through Lone Mountain. (Truck was in the shop way too much so that killed my pay and lease completion bonus with Prime.)

    GITRDUN45 Thanks this.
