USX NE Regional

    USX offered me NE regional. Said home every weekend and starts at .33cpm. Im fresh out of CDL school. They said no forced dispatch to NYC. Does that sound about right?

    Anybody else do NE regional for USX?

    They will say anything to get you sign up for it and once you are already in they will start playing games, you will be going anywhere in ny but not nyc because you cant to the city with a sleeper nd a 53 ft trailer but i have seen northeast us express drivers in brooklyn nd everywhere in ny don't worry about ny just take the job since you are fresh out of school you have to start somewhere to get your experience nd move on, hope this help and good luck.

    yea that helps. im from va and he said that people in va do not do team driving after the training phase. is that true?

    where in va are you? i'm in winchester going to hagerstown cc, grad date is dec 15... thinking about mcelroy and dot..have a prehire from bowman but it seems like they babysit you for the first 3-6 months.

    nvm...i see that you're in fredericksburg..

    I never heard that before they probably have something special they need you to run that's why they are trying to tell you that ask them for what you want and if they can't give it to you start looking for a different company they are out there just look for them.

    my girlfriend lives in strausburg thats actually where ill probably be moving too. i just graduated cdl school. got my license yesterday. ready to start working again

    A driver I know did NE regional. He made money.

    Stay away from Dollar General. They will ask you to "help" them out and deliver a few to the stores. Refuse it.

    US Xpress is better than some to start out with. Get your experience then move on.

    i just dont wanna team drive after my training. but the recruiter told me ppl from va dont team drive cause of the freight.
