Hello all! My name is Eddie and I am brand new to the trucking industry. I have an investor who has fronted the money to buy a truck and pay for the many things that are involved in running a trucking company. I do not have my CDL at this time, but I have a couple of drivers that are willing to drive for me and teach me how to drive once I get my permit.
We have a 2004 Volvo VNL64T670 and we do not have a trailer right now. We want to get a flatbed, but we may not get one before getting started. In that case, we'll need to do power only loads from a load board to get started.
Excited and apprehensive at the same time. Any suggestions would be welcome!
