I know the good companies you need a solid driving record and solid employment but I need advice on my BIG problem. I have a 2012 Peterbilt with 242350 miles im a newbie got off trainer truck 2 weeks ago and I don't feel safe to drive I got the truck 3 days ago went to pick up a load 78520 gross wieght on a cat scale drivers 33440 trailer 33700 pulling paper from Indiana to walden ny going across 80 ( training I had around same wieght little over little under) all hell broke loose it started to sway from side to side at the same time bouncing and pulling hard against the trailer and bouncing back( trailer hitting back of tractor) st the same time. No it wasn't bad road or construction. Tow truck guy moved the truck and felt what I felt. find out to day the guy had the same issues guess what they did they have put in brand brand new suspension parts on the drives new tires. New shocks, airbags on the whole tractor even underneath cab new cross members leaf spring leaf leaf spring hanger. and i had that experience. They told me they took it on a road test bob tailing and empty and it didn't do nothing they also inspected the trailer and tow truck guy said nothing was wrong with it when he pulled it try pulling another trailer should I? I really don't feel safe in it.#

um... things kinda got all confusing in there lol, im not a veteran driver, but either way im assuming you're a company driver.... if you get into a truck and you dont feel safe driving, then don't.

Was it wet on 80?
-
2nd posting of this thread......one in another section too......?????
-
No 80 was dry
-
So the craziness happened, then you pulled over and called your company who then called a tow truck? How bad was the damage? What speed were you going when this happened?
-
No visible damage my company did and maybe 45mph didn't trust it going faster. I want to work just want to do it safe
-
Was it rolls of paper?
-
Yes it was
-
Have you looked in the trailer?
