As far as I know I haven't heard anybody get offered to switch over to the OTR and run all 48, I do know some drivers did ask to stay and they were denied.

It is sad that the southeast region drivers were let go, especially if they were not offered OTR to run all 48 states. Is there still a future for OTR drivers to run all 48 states for JBS Carriers? Lord willing, JBS Carriers is NOT running into financial difficulties to both keep their drivers driving and the rest of their employees working at their jobs.

God bless every American and their families! God bless the U.S.A.!

Its hard to say what is really going on. I don't get out to Greeley much. Only 1 time in 2 years. I would bet they are still operating OTR and will probably do so for some time, they are hiring out of Greeley. Those drivers are running beef and pork, the southeast region was chicken. The rumor mill is saying JBS is trying to get out of chicken, no money in it. The Green bay guys are running beef. Cactus, Tx. is beef. Eastern Texas is chicken. JBS is by no means going broke BUT JBS carriers is operated as a separate entity from JBSSA and JBSUSA, if JBS carriers can't make money and stay profitable they will be history.

I believe that JBS Carriers is competing extremely hard against other trucking companies, especially refrigeration companies. There seems to be quite a few of them in the United States of America, plus the ones in Canada and Mexico.

I TRULY and SINCERELY pray for JBS Carriers, along with the rest of the United States of America, that everything, economically and financially, picks up and becomes prosperous, to both get and keep everyone employed.

I TRULY and SINCERELY would like to both hear and see the unemployment rate get down to 1% or less, full employment at 99% or more.

God bless every American and their families! God bless the U.S.A.!

I worked for JBS and it was a ok company but.....I wouldn't go back They are not really concerned about there drivers its a numbers game. mega carriers are great for teaching new drivers and thinning the heard of new drivers. If my choices were limited I would pick JBS but since I have many choices there is no way I would go to a starter company. I sure don't miss waiting hours at a chicken plant (De Queen) Yuk. now I hear they have spy cams. Darrin Taylor was a nice guy and treated me right but there is no comparison to a small company that pays a lot better and doesn't have you sit around all day then gives you a pre-plan that requires you to run thru the night.
