Mr. Guy if you think you will make two thousand dollars a week driving a truck or if someone told you they did. You are both wrong. I have been driving 27 years. I have done local hauling haz-mat, regional and otr. Some of the best paying jobs are line haul driver for the ltl companies. I have 3 good friends who run for 3 of the biggest. Estes and Reddeway, and Saia. They are making between 65 and 82 thousand a year. Somebody is blowing smoke up your #@! . My cousin works for Gordon Food Service in Canada and he makes about 65,000 per year. Ya better wake up and smell the roses.

 

Too be fair, Mr. Guy said that he made a mistake posting $2,300 a week and re-posted the number to $1,300 a week. Although I still think that number is a bit inflated, he can't defend himself as he has been spanked by the forum staff here and put in time out for being a naughty little newbie

I ran my butt off with may and never once except as a lease operator saw more than 1000 a week. The lease is a whole different beast that I wouldn't touch again ever

 

1300 is not inflated that's minimum pay for the smallest route
