Well You are responsible for your own taxes, and I know the guy, he knew me, and from there well you can guess. He knows bill--#### I miss that money now that I'm thinking of it. But his equipment wasn't pretty.
But he's give you a start, and he'd start you out with a small truck with home heating oil. They are painting the bridges in new york and we had to supply their machines with #2 and keep them filled. This guy had connections.
You were running straight on the LIE most of the time, just coming out of brooklyn was tricky. But you go the same way all the time.
Hey rolling thunder is a newbie--I had a 2 friends that helped me out--he's on his own--I wish him good luck. -
Well you better get serious, cause I know you, and this is physical, and can get stressful, there are many stories of lay overs and brake downs, and a few jack knife's to be told. Just hope you can walk the walk, cause it ain't all talk. You better be careful of them maneaters in shakey town LOL

Just received an email from him, and he went on the plane and should be there right now, so billy if you read this, I passed the word around and MY VERY BEST GOOD LUCK TO YOU
Remember that song--"when the man comes around" -
I like this post but I just get the feeling that this is being written by a recruiter. I mean gee wouldn't you question any trucking company that has to have guards inside the office?? Guards in the lot sure but inside man that just isn't right. Been truckin' a few years and I have never worked for a company that needs guards INSIDE the building, nor would I ever. If you feel that nervous about your employees maybe management need to review their employee/employer relationship. Just my two cents.

Here I am! You know, granted, this is no Holiday Inn here, but I took a look at all those awesome trucks outside. They really have some of the most beautiful rigs I ever saw.
I am in the laundry room right now because I couldnt sleep. One guy snored, another won't stop coughing... coughing and coughing lol...
But hey, these are things that you have to deal with...
I think this can be a decent company. And is grandmaDebi a CR recruiter? I doubt it. But I dont know that for a fact, but I dont think she is.
To just assume she is - we could also just as easily assume that the CR England criticizers are recruiters from other companies who want to keep people away from CRE... that is just as possible if you want to look at it that way.
I like it here so far. They have a movie theater, a pool hall, and yeah, I havent started the actual training yet. So I heard a couple of the instructors act like drill sgts... oh well - maybe that's a GOOD thing...
All I know I am happy to be here. At least at the moment. I will continue posting my progress and opinions of it all - and they will be my honest opinions.

I used too be a trainer for CRE and the advise I can give you is this if you stay with them do it as a company driver yes you will get crapped on but if you lease a truck and run all 48 states you wont know from week too week how many miles your going to run untill you get on a dec. run then once on there you can see if leasing would be better for you instaed of a company truck but DO NOT trust them too get you back to your home state to get your CDL transfered before it expires the only good thing I can say about CRE is that you can either haul temp controlled frieght or dry frieght instead of being limited too just dry frieght CRE was good too me untill I got my 2nd lease truck then I went 7 weeks with out a paycheck due too the turbo being replaced every 15000 miles and sitting for a week while it was getting fixed and the only way I got out of it was driving it and a empty trailer from jonesboro, ar too salt lake city, ut and parking it saying here is your truck back if you can try and stay with refer trailers you might find you like it
