Assuming that this truly is a serious post, there is nothing topping you from applying at anay company you choose to. You cana fill out applications in person, or online as you desire to.
of course, it's going to be up to the companies to decide if they want to hire you, and they will be doing some of the usual background checks of your license and your driving history. Yiu may as well apply, since you have nothing to lose and might find someone. A lot of it is going to depend on their insurance carrier and the limits they set on the number of violations, their frquency, and the seriousness of the violations.
I would try to start following the rules of the road a lot more closely if you do find something, since you are on the edge of being insurable at this point, and if it worsens, you wil not find a job in the industry.
who will hire me now?

Took the words right out of my mouth. I wouldn't hire you, that's for sure. That's an awful lot of mistakes in a year of driving.
-
No, they definitely have not. I don't know why you'd think that but I have several relatives who have never had a ticket or broken a law in their lives - that's just the way they are. Mike, too, hasn't ever had a ticket or broken the law in the 20 years he's been driving. He did damage a door once on a trailer in a dark yard but wasn't cited for it and got it fixed right away, as any responsible person would have.
You don't speed and break traffic laws if you want to be a SUCCESSFUL truck driver. -
Well, you can always look on the bright side of things. While you may not have a job anymore, may not know where your next meal is coming from, and could be spending the rest of the winter nights curled up on a steam grate with an old thin blanket, you aren't driving for Swift any longer.
That should make you feel better.
According to your own past posts, you had almost no chance of getting schooling because of a lack of funds and inability to qualify for any forms of loans or grants to pay for schooling. You managed to find someone that would supply you with the schooling you needed to get a job you wanted, and then you proceeded to violate the rules that appy to that job to the point that the employer, noted for being one of the most lax in the industry, let you go because of your poor record.
Try applying elsewhere, but don't be shocked when it doesn't work out. And you should target your applications to the absolute bottom of the barrel companies, because you already started out with one of the worst in the industry and were found lacking there and fired.
Best of luck!!! -
Well said, Burky!!!!

With all the things I have seen from swift drivers I was wondering what it takes to get fired. Aparently it's 12 incidents. lol
The only bring side of this is that since you lost your ride I feel a whole lot safer. No, some of them are not too bad but they are all stupid which is just as scary.
No not every driver has done that. I havn't done all of them in 13 years much less the first year. And I sure wasn't speeding on downgrades (twice)
you got fired from swift.... I doubt anyone will hire you.
Would you like fries with that?? -
" would you like fries with that?"
Medicine Man- couldn't have said it better myself!! -
Come on, that has to be one of the most tired out, worn down cliches it it possible to make.
Everyone knows that folks do not order their meals by the individual item any longer, but instead order off the menu by the number, and the combo meals they order includes a drink and a side dish, typically fries. So to say "Would you like fries with that?" is a badly out out of date cliche that simply doesn't apply any longer in our society.
Asking "Would you would like to Supersize that meal?", now that I would be able to get behind!!!
Let's get with the program if we are going to give this young man good career advice people!!!!! -
I agree with everyone that is a big list for one year of driving, i can't understand why your log book was not current
, everytime you change duty LOG IT!!, but like everyone said it will be very hard to find a carrier to take you on, best of luck. If there is anyone to maybe give you a second chance witch i highly doubt it might be cr england, or maybe Job Hunt, but even with them your chances are pretty slim
Good luck -
I have to agree. Though I've only been driving for a few months, I have yet to get even one citation. If I was "Joe truck driving company" I would take one look at your list and throw your application in the garbage can.
To me, the first year or two for a truck driver should be spent learning the job and protecting your CDL and DAC report, not pushing the limits and piling up the tickets.
It's just not a good sign that you are a responsible driver that takes safety seriously and understands/respects the laws of the states you travel through.
Bottom line is that if Swift doesn't want you....you're screwed.
