Has anyone had an issue with the MCP 200 beeping at you anytime you reach 59 mph? Or beeping when doing a slow maneuver? It's a performance monitoring alert. Mine just started this on the first and it is very annoying. I've had to shut off all the sound to keep my sanity.

 

It used to beep like this then they turned it off once they switched over to workflow. I guess they are unhappy with the over speed % company wide so they figure the beeping will annoy people into keeping it under 60. I've had the volume shut off for a long time because Jill is so #### annoying anyway. It also beeps for excessive idling, over rpm and excessive overspeed

 

My DBL tells me it is turned on in the Nashville Division (me) and possibly another division. No word on when it may change. I really hope this is just a temporary thing.

 

That new technology seems like another reason to leave.

 

While many find the beeping for overspeed highly annoying as a TE I love it. Beats the hell out pf me having to say "watch your speed" every 5 minutes when BTing, in a light rain, or other situation where they can't use the cruise.

You can turn down the alter volume but leave the voice up in the settings if you don't want her beeping at you.

 

Mine doesn't beep.

 

I trained another one today LOL. IDK about a shortage of drivers, but we definitely have a shortage of trucks, guy I trained today was given a loaner that is available because the driver is on vacation.

Heard a rumor they are working on new trucks for our account.
