Did I read that right that they (menomonie) just took on 7 and are going to train 10 more? Darn, I missed out on that round. So many stores going up in the region, I could see where they would need the help. If you hear anything please keep me posted. Many thanks.

 

That is correct. They have probably hired about 25 new people within the last two years. Good time to get in here because the average age of a driver here is about 60. Lots of retirements coming up in the next 5-10 years.

 

Well, we start our extended weeks on the 3rd, until the end of the year. This will be my first time for this, so I will see how it goes.

I know Matt has done this quite a bit. It looks like they only do it around the holidays here.

Ok so my husband has done a phone interview, then went to a regular interview, per/post trip test, driving test, drug test, physical, and done the online background check. Now let the waiting begin.....I hate waiting!

 

I so hope he gets this because our current employer is beginning to make life difficult. They let go of many FL drivers and only 5 left. Its like now they are just trying to make life difficult so we quit. The people they let go they gave 1000 dollars to and said buh bye. No warning nothing!

 

Had better weeks, but it happens. Things going well.

 

Sorry to hear that Jim I know where you coming from work bad weeks but your working for Wal-Mart I haven't got a phone call yet and it's been 3 weeks seems like everyone else is getting hired I hope they call me. How was your 3 days off?

 

Can't remember having 3 days off, been getting 4 days almost every week LOL. Great time off! And still making a lot more than previous job. Hope you get that call soon!
