First time I've ever heard about not involving an alignment shop because it's an oilfield truck. If I owned it would have been at City Spring a long time ago.

I would wanna know why they wont involve an alignment shop. Thats kinda ignorant on their part to use the oilfield truck excuse. Do they think that trucks that run offroad part time dont need alignments? Why do they bother to put alignment adjustments on the suspension in the first place right from the factory if it is built as an oilfield truck? Thats what I would be questioning them on. Have em at least check the wheel bearings if nothing else and then after yer outa the shop, take it to I&S in Acheson n let em do their magic...

checking the wheel alignment would be a real good step to take, but a real alignment.....sounds like it is in that one wheel end...do you watch your tire pressures, what do you run? Is it tri-axle, what's the spread, what kind of work do you do, weights & trailers you haul, a lot of tight work that could scrub the tire? check torques? all tires on all drive axles same tread type & depths?

What's a three-axle alignment cost, ~$250? Vs. a tire a month?
Not that a three-axle will necessarily solve the problem, but it's a place to start and relatively cheap. -
A 3 axle alignment is $300 and it comes with a WARRANTY, yes it does, if you go to the right place. They will tell you to come back in a couple weeks to have it checked again free of charge and they will also readjust whatever needs tweaking after it settles.

Hey now easy Chris, this ain't my rig and I am not taking it anywhere the owners don't tell me too.
We run out of se sask sw man and nd. I average closer to 50% gravel but honestly it's because the roads are so bad graded gravel is preferred. I don't agree with the no alignment rule but they have some valid points, out here we pound the beloved Jesus out of the front end esp at night in potholes. Some guys want their truck to run like a highway tractor but even our new ones won't do that after 6 months.
As for cost, the closest to us is Brandon or Regina and that means the truck is down for a day. Truck revenues 2100 a day on average, plus a driver to take it there 27x10 270$ fuel is about $150 and then the alignment for 300$ (which sounds low, I think Brandon is more like 500$). So it is around $2825 at least to get it done. Or as our shop manager pointed out $800 for a new pair of tires on the dually every 60 days.
If it is a bearing hopefully it cooks it and I can get it pulled and dealt with. -
Ouch! Well if its not your truck then you kinda gotta do whatever they wish. I thought this was your baby. I definately know what I would do if I was in that position with my own riggin. Are you with Sperling?

After reading the mullens 4 page policy book on social media I no longer confirm or deny that I drive a baby blue truck for division of them based in se saskatchewan.
