I am super heavy at 25k with a flip axle and a flip neck. The trailer has cross members on 12" centers (rated for 100,000 in 10 ft) and is set up to run as a 3 + 1. It also has detachable rear to accept the deck insert. I do have a 29' 6" well and 19" deck height. Wish I was a few pounds lighter but I could not afford to order one custom. My plan is to run some 85-95k loads. If I had my truck ready I might take a swing at the 38' long 16' tall going to atlanta .

Ouch! That is a heavy SOB..Like I said, more than I'd ever need though with a 3 axle truck though.
If i could find one that weighed in around 18-19k, I'd be golden I think

I think if you go new,, you won't have much trouble getting there. Etnyre has a 50 t hyd 3 axle that comes in under 19k but the well is short at 26'

Thats why I was thinking about a 48' with the flip up and a normal 102 swing neck. That should get me @28' in the well at least. a 53 ' 3 axle would get me the same, but then have hassle in Ca. and a 48' 3 axle would get me about the 25' mark I think.
Guess I need to talk to our guys first and see if they have the work to keep it busy, but this machinery is not getting any lighter

Just as long as your combines are heavy enough to be permitted for weight, if your still running them. I know I couldn't, run them with the tires off when I was a 6 axle as I was too heavy

I was over weight anyways with them most of the time, but I wont be doing them as they need a combine trailer pretty much. Thats another factor, no blades or combines if I go that route!

I don't run enough on the west coast to justify having a trailer with an equalizer beam. The other thing I like about a spreader and two flips is you can run just as 3, 4, or 5. Or if you want you can run 3+2, or 4+1 whatever the states dictate. Give me his number I'm bobtail so I can go anywhere.
