Finally saw an Abilene rig northbound on I81 around 5:10 this evening at mm226. I've been lurking here reading the Abilene forums and really enjoying and learning allot. I have a brother that has 36 yrs with Wilson Trucking and at some point I'd like to try my hand at it. I believe Abilene would be my choice from all the forums and posts I've read here on the site. Praying all you guys & gals stay safe!!

I have it in my personal vehicle and love it! I'm going to get it for my truck soon. Do you need any special equipment to install in the truck?
-
Not really, just a 3.5mm jumper cable that goes from the satellite unit to the auxiliary opening on the stereo. Set the stereo on aux. and you're good to go. I have used both the aftermarket overpriced antenna you can buy for $50-60 dollars, or the little deal that comes with the satellite radio. I've used both, but with this new Cascadia I opted to go the cheaper route and its working just fine.Truckin' Monkey Thanks this.

I went ahead and took the Sirius radio out of my personal vehicle and put it in the truck. It worked great! I spend more time in the company truck anyway so it makes more sense to have it there.
