Delivering in Saux Falls, MN 0630 appointment and everyone was late for work. Kinda funny watching them all get out of their cars cursing.
Bears play Packers tonight in Green Bay so everyone in WI should be prepared for traffic and cranky people if the Bears in.
H.O. Wolding is a GREAT company!

Got unloaded in Sauk Rapids or falls or something like that, did a drop and hook in Minneoplis, did a drop and hook in Oconto Falls, WI then did a live load in Menomie, MI and ended the day just north of Milwaukee, WI. On my way to North Carolina.
weather was fine during live loading and unloading but because I'm special the rain pured during both drop and hooks. -
Bram, what fleet are you on? OTR or super regional? What's the home time for the super regional or whatever it's called? How many miles a week are you averaging?
Thanks -
Great 1st day of Orientation. DOT Physical took forever and went over yard exercises in class and observed in Yard So far it is every thing I expected. It is laid back, people are helpful and Nice. Instructor was knowledgeable and broke down the maneuvers so they are easy to understand. Tomorrow is Practice all day. I am very happy with my choice so far....
Bram and Weeble Kneeble Thank this. -
Hey Biggy D, thanks for the update. I will look forward to hearing how it goes. Just curious about the physical part of it outside of regular DOT parts. I was told there is a duck walk and 100lb drag and 75lb lift. I would be curious for more detail on that. I will probably be there in about 4 weeks or so.

There is no duck walk(that I recall) Men and woman do same 150lb drag around a room and lift a crate of iron 75lbs from floor to counter top 5x. There's other lifting drills too but that's the hardest part. Being female I started lifting weights too make sure I'd be ok with it. It was a lil rough, but that adrenaline kicked in, and was ok. Lol I wasn't about to be sent back home.
In Missoula, MT for the night. Delivering in Post Falls, ID @ 0530.
Bram, did you find out about the chains? I see all truck stops selling them up here and it makes me feel concerned. Why didn't they train us on it and give us some? This is my 1st time up this way...and wrong time of the year lol.Tracks Thanks this. -
Golden fan I'm in the OTR group. I believe home time for regional is every two weeks but you should ask the recruiter because there are so many options.
Here are my miles for the past 4 weeks
2339
3781
2434
3788
Year to date miles as of 10/24/13. 119,247 -
Haven't checked on chains yet. My understanding of why your not trained and given them is that safety feels if it's bad enough to need chains you should park it. Without chains there's no risk of a dispatcher pushing you to go. Please keep in mind that's just what I've heard from other drivers not directly from the company.
also heard that until you have a few years experience they won't give you a set.
be careful up there! -
I'll be getting fuel in Post Falls tomorrow. You guys will love it up here in the winter lol.

I asked my dispatcher about chains a few days ago . His reply was . we shouldent send you any where you would need chains , but if you want a set to feel comfortable feel free to get a set from the shop . And that he would also rather us park it anyways if chains where needed
Also bram I sent you a request for the fb page . My first name is sayer .
