I believe it was actually at 13ft bridge. He hit the bridge and that's why he backed up sheepdog. I know what you mean though if you can't back an 1/8th mile straight line there's something wrong.

Because folks can't seem to post new threads with titles that are clearly understood and searchable.allniter Thanks this.
-
And I am just as guilty with my title.
Sorry for the repost. -
No problems

... I still have some issues trying to use the search feature on this site... can't seem to get it to return anything but entire threads, doesn't get to actual posts... -
You have to click on advanced search, to the right of the search box, this will open up all kinds of settings to help you find what you are looking for.Lepton1 Thanks this.

really it was easy to do backing and do u turn on road cross to use more room.
what does boss say to this driver when he fases to company truck in this condition? -
After watching this once again, I don't believe the guy at the tail end of the video was a co-driver, I think he may have been either someone driving from the opposite side of the trestle or walking, he didn't have his hands around his head like the driver did and I just don't see a trainer or co-driver letting a person do that much damage to a truck without trying to stop them somehow.
The bridge was 13' 0", but there looks to be a tree branch hanging pretty low down over the 13' on the sign. It looked like he must have missed hitting the trestle. If you look at the comments on youtube by the person who posted it, I believe they said they tried to motion the man that there was a place he could turn it around at before getting to that spot, but I'm sure the guy either wasn't paying attention to the man or didn't know what he was trying to convey. Whatever he did a number on the truck.
Let this be a lesson for anyone who sees this, not to let something like this get out of hand; it would have been better to call 911 for assistance with traffic where he could have backed up and turned the truck around. Now he won't have a job and will have it put on his DAC as a preventable. And pay attention to those yellow signs. -
USA! USA! USA! USA! .... I could chant that all day long while watching this guy! I just want to walk up and offer him a hug. "Driver.... Stop! please get out of the truck, NO NO NO wait, set the parking brake, no the yellow and red knobs, yeah there you go...no PULL them, if you push them in you are releasing the brakes... c'mere, c'mere, c'mere... Gimmy a hug buddy, there ya go, there there now". As I wipe the tears from his cheek I ask "do you want me to back it out of here for you"?
allniter Thanks this. -
He don't know what will do in his truck. I wish you have a full video of it.
