4 days. I could be hauling sulpher lube oil propane or water I won't know until after orientation. I'm very happy to not be driving a dry van anymore

Good morning. I was wondering if anyone knows of companies in the oilfields down there that hire over the phone like they do in ND. I would like to work in the Texas oilfields as opposed to ND oilfields because I can't stand to shiver. Thank you.

I think it's possible but they'll probably require a face to face interview at some point. A lot of companies require you to apply online so you could at least get the ball rolling.

BTW - I find it hard to believe that the Ice Queen is afraid of a little chill !

Thank you Ben. I have applied to several places in Texas online and have only heard back from Sun Coastal, who said they were doing verifications and background. I am hopeful as I consider Chill to be anything at 20 degrees or above and anything less to be shivering.

Stay away from the Pan Handel then; I was Shivering like a leaf last night. There is nothing like pouring chemicals into a pump truck water tanks while running displacement, with snow and -14 winds wiping through you. PS It was 387 Barrels to run....

Shale Tank Trucks is always hiring. I've been in the area since 2005 and always seen a hiring banner up at their yard.
