Depends on your skill with trailer at the end of your Dz driving job. If you were a good employee, your boss might be inclined, if asked to say you have been driving class Az all along.

P.S. I know most agencies say minimum 1 - 2 years experience, but give them a call anyway. Ask them if they know anyone hiring inexperienced drivers, you'd be surprised to see how many phone numbers you get.

    Gwapo Thanks this.

Njp, do you work local yourself?
I know few companies that hire everybody but only for long haul which I don't want...
I tried quiet a lot of places already, so far only rejections. I will keep trying, of course.

Yes I work local. Yes most of the larger cartage companies will not hire you at all without the experience, I suggest you call smaller companies. One thing is for sure though, the hours you want are impossible. No boss wants to give someone unproven so much responsibility. Most likely you will be working when your boss is.

P.S when you call larger companies, ask if they have some sort of training program. I know Canada Cartage here in Mississauga was looking to do one around this time.

Orcen, I already spoke to them, they will take new driver who went on that full course for about $8000. Also they have their own school that they can cover half price if work for them later. Anyway, they offer mostly long haul now, they have big line up for local work.
I got some good leads for jobs, I will put update soon next week.

local job very cheap, i think you get wrong profession.
cheap cause you home every night and should be happy.

without experience you can find only greedy owner operator who will work and train you for a month.
you will do container job and paid % gross
