    Hey guys,

People here may know me from the working in the alberta oilfields post.. I am currently located at Surmont Phase 2 near Anzac, AB.
We are looking for drivers, class 1 or 2 with air, to drive yellow busses on site in camp and to other camps/sites near by. We are currently 7 drivers short
and getting busier all the time. Camp provided, year round work. OE955 union, non union members come onto site via permit and are in the union after 90 days.

14/7 rotation, 29.85/hour to start + benefits and pension and camp. No flights but transportation provided from Nisku, Edmonton (claireview west stop) Boyle and Lac La Biche

If you don't have a lot of experience, are looking for a way into the union or are looking for a relatively easy driving job, then this is for you.

I encourage you to apply, good luck.

If you have questions, put them in this thread rather than PM'ing me, that way I can answer your questions for others to read, no need to repeat

Tell them more about the job.

I would assume most of the driving would be transferring workers to/from camp for their shifts a some trips to the city.

    Split shifts ?

Yes splits, guaranteed for 8 paid hours / day, there is some OT when required.
Transferring workers from camp / camps on site to locations on site and within the area.

Thanks Onetrack, didn't see anything about having to have a clean abstract, so we will see.

How much are dues? What are the accommodation like? Bunkhouse, hotel or cabins?

When you say to start when does the rate go up and by how much?

It's a camp job. 2000 guys and gals getting comfy in the same building. I believe surmount had jack and Jill bathrooms and food ain't too bad.

Thanks for posting this job onetrack. That's amazing. I'm presuming they would prefer fairly local drivers (AB residents) so they would know there way around the areas? This looks like a great opportunity for people to get their foot in the door. If things don't pan out for me in the FSJ area maybe I will take a look at this.
