We must have crossed paths. I am at The Motor Inn at the intersection of 33 and 127 below Van Wert. Probably leave about noon.

11/7-11/9
Just got home about 30 minutes ago. Other than a 6.5 hour unload it went well. I also saw quite a bit of lake effect snow in Michigan. It was close to white out conditions at times as I left Holland after unloading. The nice thing was it was 35F so the roads were fine. I believe we are in for a rough winter.
They are turning me pretty fast this week. I have a dry bulk load to pick up in N Chicago Monday afternoon and bring it back to High Point. It will be pretty much a standard 34 hour reset at home before heading out Sunday morning. I should get home Tuesday afternoon. -
anyone know the starting pay at Superior? Are they team or solo? Thanks for your feedback.

Everyone makes the same, .47 loaded, .40 empty. I think their are a few teams, not really sure. Most drivers are solo though.

I also believe we are in for a rough winter. I've been dealing with it since October and have already dealt with subzero temps.
Enjoy following this thread, my dad is a former driver now terminal manager.wsyrob Thanks this. -

11/10- 11/15
I hit the road after church Sunday and ran on up to The Loves on I-65 MM131 north of Indy. I had a later than normal drop and spot on the dry bulk load. I never know whether to to head in early on these. It turned out early would have been better this time since everyone was in a meeting. It started snowing as I hit 80-94. It was plenty warm so no problems on the road. I sat for a couple of hours before the meeting ended and that threw me out into rush hour traffic going back. It took 3 hours to run the 65 or so miles back to 80 on 294. I was still able to make it back to Richmond In before running out of hours. That is close enough to make my delivery without spending an extra night out on the road. It snowed all the way back to Richmond but was warm enough to not cause any problems. Temps dropped into the low 20's overnight though.
I took exactly 10 and made it back for my delivery in Brown Summit by 20:00 Tuesday. Got a call from dispatch en route asking when I was going to be able to make my drop. They had some product rejected for odor and needed me to load a trailer in Plaquemine La 8 AM Thursday. I went off the clock at the terminal at 21:00 meaning my through the house time would only be about 8 hours after the drive home and back. It also meant some hard running on minimal breaks Wed-Fri since the plant was needing this chemical badly after rejecting a couple of loads. I made it back to Brown Summit Friday at 14:30 after a long and very productive week.
I am off until Monday when I run right back to Plaquemine for another 8 AM loading appointment. This time I will leave a little earlier and not be pressed for time. I also need to plan my stop for some Monday Night Football Panthers-Patriot action.Weeble Kneeble and lv gn Thank this. -
