Do companies reimburse you for paying for CDL school if you paid with a check?

    No, it wasn't a factor for me. I had it pretty much narrowed down to a few employers before I even started (but i was open to expanding that if something interesting came along)

    IMO, their placement is most helpful for those who have a shaky background. But it's also another resource, where ,, if you're looking for something specific, they might know of a company you didn't already know about. Or they may know a company's 'real' driver qualifications (ie, company advertises 'must have 1 year exp', but in reality they might hire new drivers on case by case basis)

    but ultimately , I think the reason they push job placement so hard is because they need to show the government that a high percentage of their students get a job after they're thru with school (so the govt approves them for WIA student funding)

    i think you're better off doing your own research and handling it yourself tho.

    Make sure your company supports that school otherwise you may not get reimbursed.Also I think you have to be with a company a yr before the reimbursement kicks in.

    I paid cash for my school. The Company i went with pays up to $6000, at $25 a week, starting your 3rd week of training. Lol, gonna take 5 years to get it all back. Don't know if I will stick around that long.
