Why does so many things in life that feel so right be so wrong ?
No heated seat for the twins !!

That probably happens even faster in a spring ride truck, which I drive.
What does your average seat usually cost? I don't need all the bells and whistles. -
Figure that a good quality aftermarket seat, fairly basic model in cloth is going to be in the 350-400 dollar range. One with lumbar and numerous air operated adjustments, think into the 600-650 range.
I have long advocated that when you buy a used truck, spend some money on it and one of the upgrades is to put in a new seat. It's your interface with the rest of the truck, and if the seat is worn, you are going to blame the entire truck for a problem that really may not be the fault of the truck's suspension.
We had a farm tractor that used to beat us to death with the coil sprung seat in it. We took it out, added an air ride seat, wired in the onboard compressor, and I could spend 20 hours or longer comfortably nonstop planting with it. -
I have no problem spending up to $1000.00 on a seat if it will hold up. I just can't take the back pain for much longer.

Every dealership has aftermarket seats on display, just go and try if it fit your needs.

I always throw out the mattress when I get a truck. Then go to a funiture store and but a real nice one.
