Texters beware - cops are now driving big rigs to catch you

That would be fine I guess, but why dont they learn how to text with their tongues. They could just attach the phone around their neck and press the keys with their tongues. Totally hands free.LOL Cheers

 

first, were all adults. we don't need software restricting the phone from working if the truck is moving. People just need to learn to take note for themselves.

Now when it comes to texting... how many people out there honestly still dont have a smart phone? Most of us have no need to ever have to try to hide our phones and send a text. my phone takes voice commands, that activate from a voice command. I can leave my phone in the sleeper And send You a text. Then thanks to Bluetooth, my GPS will read my texts to me. The technology is already there, people just choose not to use it. Now driving team. like I am, I can understand not wasting your Codriver to hear your conversation, that's where being a grown up comes in. Either learn to not listen to each other's conversations, or save anything that needs to be private for when the truck is stopped.

And definitely dont treat people who text like a dui. I have enough money that chimes out of my check going to waste... in nj, actually pout people in jail for not having car insurance... lets reserve jail time for actual crimes, and just make bigger fines if you get caught texting
