New to this board work solo company driver for Schneider (PumpkinScam)

Hi Truckers, I'm new here and here is my introduction if you love trucking you might skip this one i'm pissed and need to vent.


I have been driving since June last year, I drive for Schneider they suck I did about 80 loads looked in crossroad just above 8K so far. Got 1 load last 2 days 250 miles took them all day to get me a trailer wait, be patient etc.. Can I get another load, no this is critical load. Now I got a load 5 hours first live load, 4 hours next and only 300 miles.


Truck broke down 2 weeks they didn't pay, I complained the guy said to reconsider if trucking is for me. So I'm calling but all the companies are crap like this one, it's my second the first one didn't pay just kept stealing money for being late, then once said I hit the break and broke a box in the load. It's just a rip off.


Not sure what to do. Here are a few problems I see how they rip off company drivers:


1. 2 hour free loading and 2 hours free unloading (LIke you are a slave have to do the work but not get paid). If you load longer then they have 55 ways not to pay you I did all day 3 times got almost nothing the DBL has to approve I have to call etc.. so it's crap, maybe if you have better DBL. Also I'm not a !@#$!@#%!@% accountant and that is what PumpkinScam wants you to be and fight every penny.


2. Crappy loads, short loads they "pay more", well even if they paid 80 cents it's not worth it, but they pay 30 or whatever it's not worth it working all day for short loads and that is all we get


3. can't call while driving so I have to pull over run my clock and i'm on hold for an hour, AND THAT IS NOT WORK? they get paid on the other line and I don't that's BS. Got yelled at 2 times once moving in traffic jam 1 mile and hour second trying to park at shipper who was closed being on hold for an hour they came on and heard the truck moving or somehow have spying gear in the truck not sure but they love to catch me while taking on Bluetooth while driving it's like they live to lecture truckers who break the 1000's of rules (and more and more every day)


4. Hit the break like in big city if someone cuts in front in a traffic jam the dam things reports me to the DBL pull over and brainwashing, off course with no pay. I guess don't hit the dam breaks.


5. Peed in the cut for the government now 4 times since I start (maybe 5) never paid for that ether.


6. Some crappy training where I loose half or all day, last time lost a day got paid 10 dollars.


7. Something goes wrong with the load, you did 200 miles but some part is missing or whatever, they often delete the entire thing and it doesn't show on crossroads for pay.


8. Miles and how they calculate them, that is huge rip-off, they route you through cities where you hit stoplights and 25 or 35 mile and hour, often takes me 3 hours to go 100 miles, but even that they shave 10 miles, but if you go Garmin GPS where it's faster they are pissed specially if you take a toll road. They way they route me just sucks and if I go off I don't get paid, but if I follow takes forever.


9. Orange Shirt Kiss ### Regulation Lovers. Every-time I got to their Base I get yelled at and lectured by their orange shirt natzies. Don't have boots, parked wrong, didn't hold the raid, etc..


so I figure 5 dollars and hour if that.. I can't imagine that a typical solo company driver with PumpkinScam making more then minimum wage I'm sure a few who kiss butt and get good load maybe do, but you got to put 14 hour day to over come with short load and tons of free work hours that you have to do without pay it's impossible to break minimum wage I just don't see it.


Get your truck or get a niche BUT DON'T DRIVE FOR SCHNEIDER they are a rip-off, I'm just waiting to get some time and try to get a better paying job but they suck and every day communist propaganda from the DBL they guy making 6 figures who goes home at 5 pm has a vexation every few months and off every weekend loves to kiss the government but and brain wash every day over the quail comm.


STAY AWAY FROM PumpkinScam (Schneider) they suck!

I'm an American trucker but trucking sucks at least for Schneider, maybe if I get a better job I will like it.


Uh, i feel better now, got to hit the bunk to see what crap the DBL has planed for me tomorrow.


PS: I only got one paycheck over 1000 and DBL said make it last he even made it a big deal how much money i made, when I said about the 10 checks less then 100 for the week i'm off or the week before or after when it's tiny he just ignores it.
