Before. Mine is down but I'm not sure on the deer my 13 year old hunting buddy shot. We were sitting together and shot them in the exact same spot 2 minutes apart. I like to give them time to lay down.

I couldn't tell if she hit hers or not.

 

That's the smart thing to do. When you hit one and it does not drop, Wait a bit and follow the blood trail.
Like you said they will just lay down and then die. You go to chasing it and they will run untill they can not run anymore.
Buddy of mine years ago shot a buck and wounded it. He takes off running after the deer. Well he was hunting in the river bottoms and the deer took off into the river. He lost the buck and the buck died drowning. He wasted a good deer for being in a hurry

 

I haven't talked to the boss yet. I'll do that Monday. I spent the last 3 days goofing off and cleaning my shop.

I'm trying to sell my Samurai and got the Scout pulled back to the big door for a fuel pump replacement. My 1000 gallons WVO has been put in the corner, fuel tank against the back wall, filled three trash cans, then swept the floor.

I can see the floor!!!!

 

I'm at home for the next week. Have to deliver my concrete panels monday morning at 7am about 2 miles away, then taking next week off. Will have the new pipes and fenders installed, and be a lazy bum. Gonna pick up a 30 pack and the new Call of Duty and pretend I'm in college or on ObamaCare

 

Bored, sitting at a refinery in Wynnewood, Ok waiting for my comrade to get here with a 90 ton crane to unload my counterweight. I wish there was better communication so I would have known ahead of time. They didn't even have an operator here, they had to call one in when I told them the other truck driver isn't an operator.

Id rather be heading home than making detention pay.
