If you or spouse are a military veteran, try USAA Credit Union near Las Vegas.

 

Many credit union or banks wont loan you a penny unless you have been there for 6 months or more with a checking account. Small local banks seem to have more generous lending policies. Have you checked what your current bank or union offers?

 

also, getting your first business loan. will be the hardest.

the way to boost your score is to pay off your debt. also, open lines of credit with zero balances.

paying off my debt didn't do much to boost my score. but i couldn't beleive the difference it made from being maxed out to being paid off on my credit cards. 175 points. and my limit isn't very much.
i wish the govt would implement a standard on scores though. so that it didn't matter what or went you went. it's all the same.

a house loan will be different from a car loan will be different from a credit card will be different from just looking at your report online. they're never the same.
