Might be who your pulling for? Or where your running.
Myself, I do average $2 mile.
Currently on a $1500 load out of Ohio to Wi. and Monday got a load out of Wi. going to Norfork for $2.40 mile. No tarp loads
No doubt things are little slower this time of year but freight still good for me.
Tricks to getting more $$$ a mile ?? *Step Deck*

People should just rip the Houston page out of their map like people have done with NYC, LA and Laredo. -

Most places dry up because most people are too dumb to go find something else to do.
If you always do what you've always done you'll always have what you've always hadpeterbilt_2005 and MJ1657 Thank this. -

OD loads are coming down as well. Its sad to see OD loads getting paid as LTL. SMH. my highlight today was getting a call saying "yea we got a od load, its 30 feet long, 9.8 wide 9'7 high 1500 miles paying $2,200" me WOT? maybe if you double it. "i usually move it for this rate" ok than dont call me. "ill make sure not too" thats TQL for you.

Sad day when the OD loads are getting low balled by brokers.
