Hmmmmm I guess between Gary and Houston. It's the crap sandwich or the crap sandwich with cheese. No mty at Morris il at Costco so sitting at TA. I'll do a mac 30 in am when wake up
-
I t called a load tonite in gary...they wouldnt take it till I rescaled it...heavy on the drives by 140lbs.
I rescaled it at the t/a and she still wouldnt take it till I walked back to the truck and got my med card.lol -
that works when you dont want to lose the truck lol
I know that volvo I had I tried to get rid of it for a couple months, went home for several days and when I got back I got the stupid truck back with no AC still after Mira loma claimed they fixed it, I skinned that cat by sticking it right back into the Phoenix shop and finally got the prostar a couple days later, that truck I liked and I lost it after just 2 days off. My 2014 freightliner I like will probably be taken as soon as I have to start taking home time and leaving the truck at the terminal again. -
did 2 loads today. p/u in southgate ca going to apple valley walmart dc. wasted 1.5 hrs waiting for a drop/delivery number. i called and asked for it when i left southgate. then went back to southgate after stopping in fontana term for an empty. took that load to porterville ca walmart and dropped it. at least this walmart had an mt. spending the nite at the shell station 6 miles from there. had only 30 min on the clock
-
that shell is a decent place off the 65, always truck parking and in the morning you can get breakfast.
dptrucker Thanks this. -
I dont know whats up but seems theres no empties anywhere...and no kidding....there must be 100 trucks bobtailed here tonight..drivers parked alll over the place....
-
depending where you are yeah it can be bad, Mira Loma is a bad area for them as well, why I have been travelling several 100's of miles to find mt's and bring back to the UPS drop lots near LA.
Sometimes it can be lazy planners not finding one for you too -
Scottie, found out something that when talking to Breakdown and Cummins in a conference call. Cummins recommends that the DPF filter be taken out and baked and cleaned every 200k. Swift says that they do not do this. Feel that it is not needed. As a L/O, it would have been nice if I had known of this, then let ME make that decision. With all that I have been going through, I would have made that decision.scottied67 Thanks this.

And it can only be baked twice. Then it has to be replaced. International says at least 200K, but no more than 300K.
NC ... double stacked. Back in Texas Wednesday night.scottied67 Thanks this.
